CPREC Nepal is proud to have successfully joined hands with AMR Club of Kantipur, Leo Club of Kathmandu Regency, Rotaract Club of Tinkune, and National Youth Movement Against AMR to organize the Youth Against AMR – #WalkTheTalk campaign on 20th Mangsir 2082 at the historic Patan Durbar Square, Lalitpur.
This collaborative awareness walk was a powerful moment of youth leadership, unity, and commitment in the global fight against Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)—one of the most urgent health challenges of our time.
CPREC Nepal believes that AMR is not just a medical issue—it is a societal challenge requiring cross-sectoral participation. Through this event, we witnessed the strength of youth engagement as participants walked with one message:
“Act Now: Protect Our Present, Secure Our Future.”
The #WalkTheTalk initiative provided a platform for meaningful dialogue on responsible antibiotic use, community-level awareness, and the need to protect the effectiveness of life-saving medicines for generations to come. The presence of passionate young volunteers made the walk vibrant, impactful, and truly inspiring.
As an organization dedicated to public awareness, research, and community empowerment, CPREC Nepal reaffirmed its commitment to:
Promote safe and rational antibiotic use.
Advocate for stronger AMR policies and implementation.
Engage young people as ambassadors of responsible health behavior.
Foster collaborations with like-minded organizations for broader impact.
We believe that continuous education and community-driven action are the keys to slowing the spread of antimicrobial resistance.
A special thank you to all the organizers, volunteers, partner organizations, and participants who made this campaign a success. Your dedication and energy transformed a morning walk into a meaningful step toward safeguarding our future.
AMR is a silent but growing threat—and the fight against it requires consistent effort. CPREC Nepal remains committed to driving awareness initiatives and empowering communities with knowledge and action.
Together, let us keep walking the talk.
Together, we can build a healthier, safer tomorrow.
