With the motto “Healthy Students, Prosperous Future,” CPREC Nepal successfully conducted a one-day School Health Education Program at Bal Aadarsha Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Panauti–10, Khopasi, with generous support from Agricultural Development Bank Limited (ADBL) under its community service initiative. The program aimed to educate students on essential health and lifestyle topics.
🎯 Program Objective
The main goal was to empower students with practical knowledge and life skills in:
Personal and menstrual hygiene
Nutrition and healthy eating habits
Mental health and stress management
Puberty and physical-emotional changes
Digital safety and online behavior
Awareness on substance abuse
👦👧 Student Participation
Around 100 students from grades 6 to 10 participated. Sessions were delivered in two groups for age-appropriate learning:
Grades 6–8 (Pre-Adolescents)
Grades 9–10 (Adolescents)
📚 Key Topics Covered
Grades 6–8:
Handwashing and daily hygiene
Balanced diet and avoiding junk food
Importance of physical activity
Preventing common illnesses
Clean surroundings and school hygiene
Grades 9–10:
Physical and emotional changes during adolescence
Menstrual hygiene awareness (for girls)
Self-esteem and mental health
Drug, tobacco, and alcohol risks
Responsible use of digital media
Additionally, both groups were entertained and educated about dengue prevention and awareness through an engaging session led by Samir Sapkota.Â

Students found the program engaging, interactive, and informative. They appreciated the real-life demonstrations and open group discussions.
